How to sort your list by supermarket aisle
Last updated
Items are grouped into categories automatically as you add them. To make the list match your shop, open Settings and use Category Organization to drag the categories into the order you actually walk them.
Steps
- 01
Open Category Organization
Go to Settings and choose Category Organization. You will see the full list of categories in the order they currently appear on your lists.
- 02
Put them in your walking order
Drag the categories so they follow the route you take through the shop you use most — fruit and vegetables first if that is where you start, freezer last if that is where you finish.
- 03
Shop the list top to bottom
Your lists now read in that order. Because the sequence matches the shop, you stop crossing back for the one thing you missed three aisles ago.
Worth knowing
- Items Groceree cannot place land under Uncategorized, at the end of the list.
- The order applies to your lists, so it is worth setting it once for the supermarket you use most often.

- Add items quicklyType in the Add item field and Groceree suggests matching products from a built-in catalogue as you go. Pick a suggestion and the item lands on the list already named and categorised, so a full weekly shop takes a couple of minutes.
- Check off and edit itemsTap an item to check it off, swipe right to edit it, and swipe left to delete it. Checked items move down into Recently completed, and everyone else on the list sees them go as it happens.
