When Groceree is the better choice
Where we think the trade goes the other way.
- You want a shared list without a pantry, a budget and a recipe box attached. Fewer screens, less to maintain.
- You want a push notification the moment someone adds something. This is central to how Groceree works; Listonic does not document it.
- You want confirmed offline behaviour. Groceree keeps lists readable and editable with no connection and syncs on reconnect.
- You keep supermarket loyalty cards on your phone and would rather not run a separate wallet app.
- You want the categories in the order you walk your shop, not just automatic sorting.
- You want a Lock Screen widget so you can read the list with your hands full.

Listonic is the better pick if you want the shop budgeted, the pantry tracked and the list reachable from a laptop. Groceree is the better pick if all of that is more app than you want and you mainly need a shared list that updates instantly for everyone. Both are free to try.
